Renmin Hospital of Southern Medical University

Renmin Hospital of Southern Medical University (also known as Southern Medical University Cancer Center) is recognized as a national tertiary Grade A hospital integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The hospital is a key project in Guangdong Province's "Strong Province Plan for Traditional Chinese Medicine". Established in October 2006, the hospital spans approximately 200,000 square meters, with a construction area of 153,000 square meters. 

The hospital's integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine clinical discipline group has flourished over its 39-year history. It comprises 1 national key discipline (Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Clinical), 6 key disciplines of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 4 key specialized/subspecialized construction units of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 2 key specialized/subspecialized units of the Guangdong Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2013, the hospital established the Southern Medical University Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Oncology Center, becoming one of the most influential cancer diagnosis and treatment institutions in the province and even nationwide. The center offers comprehensive oncology diagnosis and treatment services and has published a series of clinical and scientific research achievements in internationally renowned oncology journals, establishing itself as a leader in the field.
