Changde First People's Hospital
Changde First People's Hospital, founded in 1898, was the first Western medicine hospital in Hunan Province. It is a large-scale comprehensive tertiary Grade A hospital medical center integrating medical care, research, teaching, prevention, health care, and rehabilitation functions. The Reproductive Medicine Center and Kidney Transplantation Program have obtained qualification from the National Health Commission. The hospital's medical technologies, including living-related kidney transplantation, autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, reproductive genetics (IVF), coronary artery bypass grafting, critical care treatment, interventional therapy, minimally invasive techniques, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and deep brain stimulator implantation, have reached an advanced level within the province and even nationally.
