The First People's Hospital of Zigong City
The First People's Hospital of Zigong City was established in 1908 and has since developed into a top-tier comprehensive public hospital integrating medical care, scientific research, teaching, prevention, and public health emergency response. The hospital has a capacity of 2060 authorized beds and is home to one national-level key clinical specialty (Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine), two provincial-level key clinical specialties (Rehabilitation Medicine and Ophthalmology), one provincial-level key discipline, eleven provincial-level key specialties, a provincial-level postdoctoral innovation practice base, one municipal-level academician (expert) workstation, twenty-one municipal-level key specialties, and twenty-three municipal-level quality control centers. Additionally, it has established eight national-level bases, including a "National Comprehensive Hospital Traditional Chinese Medicine Work Demonstration Unit," and six national-level centers such as the Advanced Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center.
